This wonderful herb, whose Latin name means to heal or save, has a long tradition behind it. What we call "spiritual hygiene" is a large area and touches many equal levels, both physical and non-physical. In different traditions, people use different kinds of herbs in different forms to cleanse or protect themselves and their energy system. Everything from dried herbs and resins to flower essences and herbal water.

This is how you use sage:

-Place the sage in a fireproof bowl or shell.
-Light the leaves on fire and wait until the fire has died down and the smoke has formed.
-Move the smoke around the room in a clockwise circular motion while seeing in your mind how all low-frequency energies are removed.
